Quality and Safety Management
After a successful audit in November 2005, LTE Logistik- und Transport-GmbH achieved the certificate DIN EN ISO 9001 in January 2006. In addition, the voluntary evaluation process on SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) was finished successfully.
Safety for transports of dangerous goods
LTE is handling transports of goods on railway with compliance of the worldwide approved quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. As we are also transporting dangerous goods, LTe has systematically induced and applied pan-European approved safety and quality rating systems of the chemical industry, like SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System).
Certification process
Over a period of about a year all organisational and technical processes of LTE were checked with DIN EN ISO 9001 and SQAS-RAIL List of Questions, including about 500 articles - particularly concerning management, safety, health and environmental protection, quality, equipment, operations, protection and inspection of the operating establishment.
LTE has established a security management system needed for safety in transportation in association with rail transport companies and accomplished a certification.
An extraordinarily positive result was given to LTE in November 2005 by the DQS (German Company For Certification of Management Systems), an independent reporting organization.
First Austrian rail transportation company with SQAS
LTE is the first Austrian rail transportation company that made an examination of the company and management according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and SQAS. This obliges us for the future and assures every customer that we will continously improve all processes to require our customers needs.
